Web3 arena Gladiator Characters
For this project, I collaborated with a client who wanted to visualize a set of gladiator-style characters to promote their Web3 arena. My main task was to modify an existing base model that I already had and design a custom gladiator helmet, along with several variations in style, color, and texture.
I began by modeling the helmet in Blender and refining its shapes and details through sculpting in ZBrush. The textures were created in Substance Painter, where I delivered multiple variations according to the client’s vision. For the body, I worked with the existing mesh, editing and re-texturing it as needed, and in some cases adding new garments such as tunics and kimonos, which I created in Marvelous Designer.
The final step was bringing everything into Unreal Engine 5, where I rendered the characters in high quality and game-ready look.
The result was a set of gladiator-inspired characters tailored for promotional use, showcasing both creative design and technical execution.
For this model, the che character concept is a Samurai, so I added a kimono made with Marvelous Designer, katanas modeled in Blender, and lighting simulating the ''land of the rising sun'' in Unreal Engine 5.
In Substance Painter, I textured the kimono, katanas, and helmet, adding details to simulate the concept of a samurai, such as cuts in the helmet.
For this model, the client requested that the character have a Roman Emperor style. With golden and copper tones, ornaments, and an olive wreath.
As well as a pose that simulates a speech, and a clean white lighting.

Although I create the toga in Marvelous Designer, I adjust the pose and correct errors in ZBrush.
Thanks a lot for checking out this project!
